Day 264 - 267 - 동해 roadtrip ^^

Yeah, I went to 동해, the east sea.. my east sea... ^^

Let's start from the very beginning.
Friday... it was supposedly 승연's birthday though he claims to usually celebrate the one in January... (I am not quite following the lunar calender)
Anyway since we're all here, he planned for us to go on a roadtrip together...
So afterclass, we (시타, 언니 and me... who else?) went to Daejeon and met 승연 there. He took his dad's car sooo it was a comfortable journey afterall.

We went to 강릉 as our first destination. We met 승연's friend... if I'm not mistaken her name is 수현 언니. We had tofu for dinner as apparently the famous food there is the tofu which turned out to be very good.

We then went to this coffee shop Terarosa where we had our green tea latte and some cheesecake and tiramisu.


It was very very cold that night and the wind kept on blowing mercilessly.

We were supposed to sleep in a 찜질방 which was closed!!! SO we had to find a motel...
and we came across this (Love?) motel... LOL we had such good laugh in there... nothing's wrong with the no bedding or whatsoever... but the bathroom is totally wrong.. you can check out the person taking a shower if you want to...

lucky 승연 decided to let us girls took our shower before he went back inside the room, where we surprised him with a lil cake and his present.

Saturday, we went to the beach, in front of 정동진 역 (which I can swear 영서 couple had been in before for WGM)... It was around 7 in the morning... and it was cold... the wind was just too strong...




We waited for 해돋이, sunrise... and we got what we went for... magnificent view

Next stop was 설악산, Mount Sorak... (forgive me, Mother I went there first without you ㅠㅠ)
Here, the wind was even stronger and meaner... a blanket and 2 hand warmers to helped me survive... ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Anyway we had to walk all the way up to 흔들바위, a big rock that supposedly can be shaken without falling down... errr... I guess... not sure, really... too bad the cable car wasn't working because of the strong wind.

Anyway, next we went to 주문진 I guess... another beach




This night, we stayed in a 펜션 called 소풍... it's nice and clean and have wonderful view... straight to the beach





We had a goood Pearl Jasmine Tea before we had to go to the fish market to buy some fresh fish and squid



We had our dinner inside the pension... 회, fresh seafood eaten with 고추장 and whatever you wanna mix it with I guess... though wasabi would make it sashimi.

Sunday was our last day of short holiday... we stayed in the pension, woke up quite late and cooked and had brunch inside. Homy and comfy...






Xmen 3 accompanied our meal... niceeeee

We didn't finish the whole movie as we needed to check out of the place. We strolled around the beach for 1 1/2 hour. First half was voluntarily, the second half was because we weren't picked up yet

Today, we had a make up class... 9-12... so on autopilot, i went to class...
After class, did laundry and all homework (not quite done though)

And at night, after dinner, we ate something to make us full.
It's berry yogurt, peach yogurt, apple, oranges, dark chocolate... 냠냠...
