Day 184 - 186 - 백제 축제

From Thursday to Saturday, all foreigners in our school joined this 백제 축제 which is the festival for the town Baekje, one of the three kingdoms... I'm guessing actually since I never paid attention to the real history... but anyway they did mention 3 kingdoms alot though I thought the story was all about Chinese kingdoms... But anyway...
Here's the story of Baekje... hmmm... more about a story of me during the festival...

1st Day: We were taken to Gongju University for opening ceremony... and they gave us 1 polo short, 1 shirt, 1 hat, and 1 green thing they call towel... So we all needed to change for that.

The ceremony was torturing... standing under the sun... I think Im getting tanned... but anyway, it was soon over and we needed to wait for the next schedule... so they gave us some performance that had nothing to do with Baekje: girls dancing to K-pop... It's Bang!, Good Girl Bad Girl and Lupin

They made us do silly dance which I totally ignored.
Then we finally could go to the next destination, to wait again... yeah, apparently, it's the favourite activity to do: waiting!!!!

Here's Gongsan Fortress where we had to walk alot for nothing

Here's our group's symbol: 현무

Next destination was: National Gongju Museum. Where I got soooo bored

This thing made me happy

Mu Ryeong Royal Tomb

Then we finally arrived at our hotel: Lotte Resort... It's a new resort and everything is nice. Except the fact that we had to share 1 room for 10 people...

At night, we had to go out again for some performance... I actually enjoyed it alot

Even later on, some of us walked around the hotel and found some swimming pool... but it was closed since it was already midnight. So my friend actually came out with a secret path... we sneaked around through emergency stairs to get into the swimming pool area... they all had fun with their 'suddenly swimming suits'. I stayed on the edge.

Here are people enjoying the view from their room

2nd Day: Neungsan-ri Complex of Koguryo Tombs

Jeongnimsaji Museum

Too cute too cute

Some news broadcast

Buddha in the old day

No picture of Mt. Buso Castle since we were there just to prepare our team performance at night.

3rd Day:

Baekje History Reenactment Area

Too bad the reenactment didnt involve any fight

Here, some 아저씨 actually asked us to be their models... talking randomly, laughing at nothing so they could take picture of us.

Baekje Historical Culture Center

We then went back to the hotel and checked out... yaaay!! the evening schedule was canceled! yaaay! hooomeee!!

At night, we had some salad with salmon party... quiet yet nice party... Prof Dee held it because we still had so much salad left from our previous party.

Glad to finished 1st part of my story... I still had a long story about Seoul... which I will save for tomorrow ^^
