Day 310 - 313 - Camp to Its End

We had alot going on around here...
There was a trip to Gongju which us, foreigner teachers managed to ran away from.
Alot of laundries.
옹기촌 with all foreigners left (well not totally all...)
On our way there, there were 17 people in one car (18 with the driver) though we foreigners were only 11.
We also had dinner and ice cream in Nonsan (me, Sitta, Onnie, 승연)
And today is the last day for almost everyone to be here.
We ended the camp... with some performances. And I know I'll miss those little angels.

And we are now ready to go. I have few hours before I am picking my mom, bro and aunt from the airport. Then I am leaving the country... Wooow... my long journey is going to end soon. I am now sitting in my room, thinking ahead and feeling everything mixed up together... This is weird... but this is happening..

Day 308 - 309 - Just Doing the Camp

These 2 days I've just been doing the camp... it's been fun and I gave these kids more freedom than I ever had to my other students... because I just feel like they deserve more fun ^^
Anyway yesterday, we had sport game, and Joey kinda forced us, the foreigner teachers to participate in the game, which in the end gave me embarrassment for making a fool out of myself and for making my team lost the game. Well only one actually... but still...

Today, I made them draw and took pics of them and with them...
Julie - the bright girl who acts older than she is
Sally - who does everything slowly and correctly
Michelle - little miss sunshine that everyone loves
Candy - who draws really well and love cute boys
Ji Eun - who tries hard in class but likes to bully the guys
Bean - who never paid attention but tries hard when challenged
Las - mr. bright that fills the class with his crazy act
Gem - quiet, shy yet has determination and creativity
Daniel - the lovable boy with cute ideas
Tom - the extremely polite and talkative boy with cute accent that everyone follows
Ruth - little miss perfectionist who will do the best until the end
Amy - the shy girl but always first to follow whatever told in class
The kids on their angelic state: drawing while listening and singing to Abba - Dancing Queen

Guess which ones mine... they are the same size =(

At night, we had a gathering (translate: chicken party) for the teachers of the camp which made me feel guilty because I ate alot at almost midnight =(

Day 305 - 307 - Junk Food = Messy Digestion

I'm back to teaching kids... and I know why Ive been teaching for several times already... I like it enough to keep me coming back to it...
Compared to last summer kids, my kids this time are angels. But probably thanks to the ratio numbers of girls and guys in class. So if I survived 10 boys and 2 girls last time, I'll survive 5 boys 7 girls.
They've been supplying me with coffees everyday which I tried to put on stop. Hope it works tomorrow because communicating with barely any common language is really hard.
Cute choco btw...

Anyway... been having messy digestion... it's because of all the junk food I've been having... the camp and winter starved me even more than before and I just took whatever food around me...

Since I'm so sick of all kind of foods, I'm 'creating' new ones.
This one I had yesterday. Melting my Jeju chocolate with a little bit of hot chocolate powder and yogurt. Eat it when it was warm and it kept me satisfied for the whole night.
Today with Onnie, melted 2 more Jeju chocolate, the same hot chocolate powder, banana, and cornflakes... yeap we liked it.... only ice cream was missing from this 'special menu'

Day 300 - 304 - Planning, Last Daejeon, English Camp, More Planning

It's been more than 300 days I've lived in this country! Yaaaaay
Anyway... not much did I do... went to Nonsan once, hang around here and there, being bored most of the time, fell on the snow and scratched my knee, and a lot of planning for my mom and bro coming next week ^^

Yesterday, went to Daejeon... it seems like it was my last visit... so I took pictures of my favorite roads and frequently visited spots

The bus that always take us there every weekend
Kimbab place where we got most of our decent meals
Paris Baguette
Daejeon station
One of the underground shopping malls
The bridge that was under construction last term but all good now

Daejeon Mart... our food supply source

KFC, not a frequent one, but was our meal yesterday

Eggtart yuuuum

It was snowiiing... lightly though

Paris Baguette again... where the nice Ajusshi is
Where we always wait for the bus to pick us up
We was misinformed about the bus schedule, so we waited in the cold for almost 45 minutes... we had another 1 hour, so we went into Tous Le Jour for this hot chocolate
These are my fave 2 things from Paris Baguette which disappeared, and now made comeback at the same time

Today... the English camp starts... here's the WOW color uniform
