160th Day - 5th Day of Camp

Field trip daaay

This is my morning state...I am on autopilot for the whole morning (this goes everyday) until time to teach starts... never in my life I ever thought that one day, I'll be teaching my 2nd language using my 3rd language (not that I'm any good at it, even... gosh it's tooooo hard).... ckckck... for that, I have to be awake...
So, one cup of coffee is part of my morning routine.

Anyway... 3 hours of teaching only as we were going on a field trip to some kind of nature museum... ask me not about the place as I wasn't interested even for a tiniest bit.
However, we did take pics

158th Day - 3rd Day of Camp

a hell worse than yesterday... they seem to know each other better today so they tend to wanna play all the time...
and different capabilities among the students are too obvious that I can't go too fast or too slow... when I'm a lil too fast, some of them just stopped studying... when I'm a lil too slow, some of them get bored and started playing... it's sooo tiring that my headache hit me back for the whole afternoon and evening...
I took some medicine and joined the guys for a bbq... and ramyun and Costco's cheesecake...
it was nice... only 12 of us... quiet but fun nonetheless.
Alex happened to make chicken wings Indonesian style and they taste sooo good... we talked and ate and strolled down the school area and took sometimes to sit under the stars....
soothing and enjoyable moment... my headache of stress is not apparent anymore ^^

157th Day - 2nd Day of Camp

aaaand it's hell!! LOL
I'm sorry... I love the kids... they are all soooo cute... But I'm teaching level 2 students... which mean, barely any English...
Today's lesson is: Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and good night...
Plus, I have 10 boys and 2 girls... age ranging from 9-13... Korean age... subtract them by 2!
I barely could keep everyone together...
during lunch, I just took my tray and sat down when one of my students fell and broke the tray. 라 샘 was there faster but I needed to tame the other kids who became anxious. So I just threw everything away from my tray so I could be with them and lead them out in order.

Partly because of that, we tried to avoid them during dinner that we went down pretty late... and dinner was not good at all... I could barely eat anything... again! lucky 우리 오빠 bought us ice cream. ^^

Later on, I prepared stamp board where I would give them good points as well as bad points

156th Day - 1st Day of English Camp

First day... what we needed to do was welcoming them and giving them test so we could assign to which level they belong in...
In the end, I got my 10 boys and 2 girls... level 2 of English... how am I suppose to teach them?
Don't even start... I have no freaking idea...
I had a blue collar shirt as uniform... I'll show it off later on... too lazy now... hehehhe

By the way, during lunch, we found this tiny snail on Dominic's plate...
Dominic named him Steven...
so he's our pet now... (right after the cats couple, Frederic and Tiger Lily and Robert, the handicapped bug)

151st Day - 155th Day - Days With Nothing To Do

I've been enjoying and getting sick of the holiday... ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
holiday by itself is good...
but having nothing to do, far away from entertainment is not

I've packed my suitcase, dragged them all the way to the gym to get it weighted, found that it's overweight, stressed over it, put it in the back of my mind until next weekend ^^

I've watched 'Once' and found it as okay only... but probably I already set expectation sooo high, the movie seemed a little plain.

I've watched Lucifer over and over again that I'm hooked to it...

I've put on make up for fun (no picture though)...

I've gone crazy over Khuntoria...

I've changed my nails...

ㅋㅋㅋㅋ btw, 임소경 씨 gave us this cute thing... well he said it brings luck for love... whatever it is, it's a cute smiling 할아버지 to me ^^
Today, Yunita went to Seoul by herself and brought me this... 냠... 양념 치킨... 맛있는데 ^^

148th Day - 150th Day - Holidays

As it is holidays, I've been using it with being unproductive.
However today we went to Nonsan and bought few more stuff to bring back home.
Also to celebrate my 150th day in Korea (...not) we decided to watch a movie: Eclipse.
It's the smelliest yet expensive cinema I've ever went into.


We also had green tea Phatbingsu for this hot summer day.






Went home, tried packing and guess what? My suitcase is soooo full already... yet these things are still outside (let alone my own stuff I could not pack just yet) I bought too much, I know... =(

146th Day & 147th Day - Last Day of Intensive & Last Day of Daejon (this term only...)

So we needed to take quick shower before the next activities. Thus, I didn't care for some make up =p
At night, we had party... farewell with some others who's leaving school for good... hix...

Today, the rain was as bad... but we needed to go to Daejeon. Otherwise, we have no more chance... probably... =p

We shopped around in Daejeon from one store to another. Bought sooooo much that we were exhausted by carrying the heavy stuffs. Since there's no evening school bus, we needed to take the train back to school... tired tired tired
